There are two main materials I use to paint onto to create my art.
Gesso Coated MDF Artist Panels (6mm thickness)
I use two sizes:
12” x 12” (30cm x 30cm)
16” x 12” (42cm x 30cm)
These are used for most of the wildlife art and some commissioned pieces. In the description of each piece I will mention if the piece has been painted on Panel.
I like to use these boards because you can either have them framed or unframed with hanging wire.
Framed Canvas – 100% cotton and triple primed (15mm or 20mm thickness)
I use all size’s available to purchase.
These are used for my landscape paintings and commissioned pieces. In the description of each piece, I will mention if the piece has been painted on Framed Canvas (Framed meaning the wooden frame used to stretch the canvas over).
I like to use framed canvas because you can either have them framed or unframed with hanging wire. I paint the edge of the canvas as part of the main painting so they can be hung unframed.
If I have used a different material to paint on this will be clearly noted in the artwork description.
